What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is Amazon’s annual birthday celebration, when it discounts more than 1,00,000 products of all categories.
When is Amazon Prime Day in India?
It will get started by 6 pm on 10th July to 11th July 2017. It is first time that Amazon Prime Day is going to be held in India. It will be a 30-hour sale event.
Cash Back offered on Prime Day?
Yes their is cash back offer that you can avail on Prime Day using HDFC cards. You can get a 15 percent cash back, but maximum up to 2000rs.
You also get 20 percent cash back on Amazon Pay Balance from 29th June till 11th July.
There are many cashback offers from Swiggy, MakeMyTrip, BookMyShow as well.
What’s the point of Amazon Prime day?
Amazon Prime Day exist to promote their Prime Subscription Service. Prime Day is for prime members who get several deals on that day. Many sign up for free trial to get benefit of the prime day deals, and once signed many of them stay as prime members.
This helps to increase Amazon’s prime members database. You can avail your Prime membership at 499rs a year.
Do I need to subscribe Prime Membership to get the Deals?
Prime Day Deals is for Prime Members only, but still their will be several other deals which are open to everyone. 13 Countries including India for the first time, will be having Prime Day on 11th July. Other Countries like US, UK, Spain, China, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Belgium, and Austria will also have Prime Day on 11th July.
We don’t know if it would be as successful in India as it is in US, UK. But sure shot it will be a game changer for Amazon. We expect to see a significant rise in the prime member subscription.
